Today afternoon, Ignacio Scocco, the Argentinean new play of Al Ain football first team, arrived in Muchen International Airport coming from Argentina to join Al Ain football first team in the camp in Italy. The player was welcomed in the Airport by Nasser Al Jenaibi, Al Ain football first team administrator; the Airport is three hours and half by bus far from the accommodation place of Al Ain delegation.
Scocco is considered a good addition to Al Ain football first team who was not in good conditions last season which led to degradations in the results and became one of the relegation threaten teams. During the last season, Al Ain football first team won six matches, while they tied seven times and they lost nine matches collecting 22 points and coming in the tenth place in the league. Al Ain is looking for coming with a new picture for the coming season to assure that they are back strongly and reclaim their old great position between the best local and intercontinental clubs since they won the ACL in 2003, when they achieved the trophy of the local league in addition to the ACL.
From his side, Scocco expressed his pleasure by joining Al Ain football first team, confirming that he is aware of the challenge waiting for him this season with his new team. This actually demands him to get used to his new colleagues as soon as possible to achieve the priorities and goals of Al Ain Board of Directors in the coming season that are represented in making the Al Ain great fans happy.
Answering a question about his knowledge of Al Ain Club, he said: no doubt, any player and before he signs for to any club should collect enough information about the club he is sign to and about its history, buildings, fans, and the city located in since he is going to live in this city in addition to many other things. I did this before I sign and it honors me to join Al Ain Club since it is one of the best clubs in Asia; they won the ACL title in 2003, in addition they have a record of times wining the local league trophies. Also I’m aware that the team was going through bad circumstances during the last season and should be passed over by bringing the trophy to Al Ain City whose nature is charming.
